What Time Is It Mister Wolf?
Available from PlanIt Playgrounds or Fast Line
In this fun, fast paced game, one child becomes “Mr. Wolf” and stands at one end with their back turned to the others. The remaining children stand at the other end and chant, “What time is it, Mr. Wolf?”
Mr. Wolf responds with different times, such as “It’s one o’clock!” The children then take steps toward Mr. Wolf, counting aloud as they go—one step for one o'clock, seven steps for seven o'clock, and so on. They can choose whether to take large or small steps, adding a fun element of choice.
The excitement builds when Mr. Wolf announces, “Lunch time!” and turns around to chase the children. Those tagged become new wolves, while others race back to the starting point to avoid being caught.
